It’s Back! CSQ Funding up to $2250
The Construction Skills Queensland (CSQ) is an independent industry funded body whose aim is to support employers, workers, apprentices and career seekers in the building and construction industry. As part of this support process, CSQ offers funding for people who work within the building and construction industry to up-skill.
Eligible applicants must be:
- An Australian citizen
- A New Zealand citizen
- A permanent resident of Australia
- A holder of a refugee or humanitarian visa
For a more complete overview of the eligibility criteria, see the CSQ website available here.
Do you work within the Building & Construction Industry?
The CSQ program is built to benefit the building & construction industry, by providing fully funded or more affordable training programs. So workers can easily up-skill and businesses can have access to a more productive and skilled workforce.
To register for the CSQ funding initiative, applicants must be an existing worker in the Queensland building & construction industry. They must have been employed for at least 1 month in a full-time, part-time or casual employment role or engagement as a contract worker. Lastly, they must be a permanent resident in Queensland OR be permanently employed in Queensland.
How CSQ Funding Could Benefit You at The Operator School
The Operator School has once again been selected by the Construction Skills Queensland (CSQ) program as one of the preferred suppliers of training for excavators, skid steer loaders, front-end loaders and backhoes. This means students that meet the programs criteria may be eligible to receive funding up to $2250 that can go towards or cover the full cost of machinery training. This is for a limited time only under the current funding program.
